Welcome to Cooper Alley Salon! We can’t wait to pamper you. Please take a moment to read through our policies so everyone’s on the same page. Thanks for your cooperation!
1. Appointments & Booking
- Booking: Appointments can be booked online, by phone, or in person. We recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred stylist and time.
- Consultations: Complimentary with most services. If you’re considering a big change (color, cut, extension, etc.), we’ll schedule a consultation to ensure we’re aligned.
- Arriving Late: If you are more than 15 minutes late, we may need to reschedule or adjust your service. Full service times require full commitment; being late means less time for you.
- Walk-ins: We welcome walk-ins when possible! If your preferred stylist is booked, we’ll do our best to accommodate or offer another stylist.
2. Deposits & Cancellations
- Deposit: For select services (color changes, balayage, extensions, etc.), a deposit might be required at the time of booking. This secures your appointment.
- Cancellation / Reschedule Notice: If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance.
- Late Cancellations or “No Shows”: Less than 24 hours’ notice or failure to appear without notification may result in forfeiture of deposit, or a cancellation fee (up to full price of scheduled service) for repeated offenses.
- Emergencies: We understand things happen. If it’s an emergency, reach out; we’ll work with you.
3. Pricing, Payments & Gratuities
- Quotes & Estimates: While we’ll try to give you an estimate ahead of time, the final price depends on service complexity, hair length/thickness, product used, etc.
- Payment Methods: We accept major credit/debit cards, cash, and (if applicable) salon gift cards.
- Gratuity: Appreciated but never required. If you loved your service, feel free to tip your stylist/staff directly.
4. Service Satisfaction / Adjustments
- Our Promise: We want you leaving Cooper Alley feeling fantastic. If something isn’t quite right (cut, color, style), please let us know within 5 days so we can fix it.
- Limitations: Changes due to wear, home care, or products used outside our recommendations may not qualify for free adjustments.
5. Products & Retail
- Returns: Opened products generally cannot be returned for hygiene and safety reasons. Unopened products may be exchanged or refunded within 14 days with receipt.
- Product Recommendations: We’ll recommend what’s best for your hair; feel free to ask about ingredients or alternative options if you have sensitivities.
6. Health & Safety
- Sanitation: We follow all state and local health regulations. Instruments are sterilized; workstations cleaned between clients.
- Allergies / Sensitivities: Please inform us of any known allergies or scalp sensitivities before services (color, bleach, chemical treatments). We may require a patch test for some chemical services.
- COVID / Illness Policy: If you feel unwell or have symptoms of contagious illness, please reschedule. We’ll do the same for our staff.
7. Privacy & Personal Belongings
- Privacy: Any photos taken in-salon (for styles, socials, etc.) will be used only with your permission.
- Belongings: Please keep track of your personal items. Cooper Alley Salon is not responsible for lost or damaged personal property.
8. Pets & Kids
- Pets: Only service animals allowed in the salon (with proper documentation).
- Children: Children are welcome; however, if bringing kids, we ask that they be supervised at all times to ensure safety for everyone.
9. Gift Cards & Promotions
- Gift Cards: Non-refundable, valid for services and products. They retain value for [insert number] months/years.
- Special Offers / Promos: Promotions cannot be combined. Discounts apply only to services/products specified.
10. Changes to Policy
- Cooper Alley Salon reserves the right to modify these policies at any time. Any changes will be posted in-salon and on our website.
