Ali Cooper began her remarkable journey in the hair industry in 1998 and quickly rose to become the top Colorist and Color Director at Cooper Alley Salon. Over the years, she has graciously served thousands of valued guests while mentoring and inspiring hundreds of future colorists. With a background in psychology, Ali deeply enjoys connecting with every guest, making them feel valued, feel seen, and most importantly, feel heard.

In 2011, Ali expanded her entrepreneurial vision by co-founding Barber Lane at the Marin Country Mart, a thriving hub of precision work and boundless creativity that genuinely reflects her passion for both artistry and mentoring others. Ali’s relentless drive to master innovative and complex color techniques enabled her to establish a robust and thriving clientele and uniquely positioned her as one of the most sought-after colorists in the entire Bay Area. Her relentless commitment to learning fuels her pursuit of advanced education classes which allows her to bring the latest color trends back to the salon. She thrives off sharing this knowledge, continually fostering growth not only in her own craft but also in the next generation of colorists at Cooper Alley. As Color Director at Cooper Alley Salon for many years, Ali has embraced the role of mentor and educator, discovering that the joy of guiding and inspiring others is her true calling.
